          6. Otar Chiladze (en georgiano ოთარ ჭილაძე; Signagi, 8 de noviembre de 1933 - Tiflis, 1 de octubre de 2009) fue un escritor georgiano,[1]​ quien junto a Guram Dochanashvili, fue considerado uno de los escritores georgianos más importantes del siglo XX.[2]​ Su hermano mayor, Tamaz Chiladze, fue también escritor.

          Otar Chiladze se graduó en 1956 de la Universidad Estatal de Tiflis en la facultad de Filología en la especialidad de periodismo. Sus primeras obras aparecieron por primera vez en la década de 1950 y, al mismo tiempo, se dedicó al periodismo literario trabajando para las principales revistas literarias de Tiflis.

          Chiladze murió después de una larga enfermedad en 2009 y fue enterrado en el Panteón Mtatsminda en Tiflis, donde yacen algunos de los más prominentes escritores, artistas, académicos y héroes de Georgia.[3]​
